London Rubbermen December Social

Ok, so I've been a bit slack and haven't updated the blog for a while  but Happy 2013!
December was pretty busy for me but I'm going to do my best to keep blogging this year.

First, I though I should post some photos from the last London Rubbermen group gathering of 2012. On the 29th Dec, a gaggle of horny rubber men met up a The Eagle in South London before heading over to Recon's Full Fetish event.

Hotwired 2012

This Saturday night see's one of London's now regular gay fetish events, Hotwired. Whilst there's a big focus on music and dark rooms, it's also a great social event with plenty of guys rubbered or leather up and ready to play. Can't wait!

London Rubbermen September Drinks Social

I've just about recovered from Folsom in Berlin after an amazing time. Next up on the calendar of kink is a London Rubbermen Drink Social on 29th September. We'll be getting into rubber, meeting in a bar (Eagle London) for a pint or two and possibly heading on to the Hoist for Hoist Black afterwards. If you're in London and free, do come and join us!

Folsom Europe 2012

Well, very soon I'll be packing my suitcase full of rubber and heading the Berlin for Folsom Europe. Code clinic is a fantastic drop in clinic held at 56 Dean St in central London. I was really encouraged to see an organisation that actively discusses gay mens' more "hardcore" activities and an openess to  provide advice, testing and support.

HARDCELL is a great web resource from the Terrance Higgins Trust. It features fact sheet style info on loads of alt sex subjects whether it's electro or fisting. There's also info on STIs and scene/S&M related safety. It's well worth a visit for anyone considering the risks and good practice for the stuff they're exploring.



 

London Rubbermen First Social

Last weekend, Fetish Week London saw the first pre-drinks gathering of London Rubbermen. Like Manchester Rubbermen and Chicago Rubbermen before it, the London group is designed to bring together rubber guys in the capital. A social gathering extending their geared up fun to more than just sleazy dark rooms (as fucking awesome as they are!).

We all met at the nominally vanilla Barcode bar in Vauxhall before the main Full Fetish party for a pint or two and it was a pretty good turn out. We were also graced by a number of title holders including Mr International Rubber and Mr Rubber UK. Lovely chaps.

Rubber Rut at The Hoist

This Friday sees the launch of a new rubber night at The Hoist, once of London's main gay fetish clubs. Called "Rubber Rut', you could be forgiven for thinking it bears a slight resemblance in name to another, long time overdue london leather/rubber club night. Either way, it could be a well needed regular rubber night on the scene. Just a shame about the general dress code as I still don't think you can beat a busy clubs totally full of rubbered up blokes. Woof!

BIrmingham Oi Fest 3

Last weekend was my first visit to Birmingham's annual Oi Fest, the Gay Skinhead weekend held at Birmingham's BOLTZ club. I got myself booted and stayed in the events official hotel, also full of gay skins as expected and a great sight to see. I think some of the others guests got a bit of a shock, especially when I ventured out in full rubber, boots and bomber. But that's another story for another day...I do love a bit of exhibitionism. ;)
